Do I need a road permit?
If the skip is to be placed on your driveway or on your property then a road permit is not required. A road permit is needed whenever a skip is left on a public highway. Road permits are issued by the local authority and generally cover the period of hire of your your skip.

How do you apply for a permit?
You don't! We'll take care of applying for the permit. If you require one, we will apply for it when you book your skip and ensure that all the relevant regulations required for the permit are adhered to.

How much does a permit cost?
The cost of a permit varies slightly depending on your local authority but generally the cost is in the region of £15 to £60. This is an additional cost on top of your skip hire cost.
