Q: Do I need permission to drop my skip on the road?
A: Yes you will require a skip permit. When you place your skip order please ask one of our sales team to arrange a skip permit, but please allow up to 72 hours to secure the permit before delivering the skip.
Q: What do I do if I cannot get a permit?
A: ABSS provides a 'wait & load' service, our driver will wait whilst you load the skip. Please ask one of our sales team for details.
Q: How full can I load a skip?
A: All skips must be level loaded only. This ensures that the waste remains in the skip when transported and that the skip lorry is not over its legal limit.

Q: How much notice is need to book a skip?
A: Depending on whether it is a weekday or weekend delivery or collection allow 24 hours for your delivery.
Q: How long can I keep a skip?
A: You can keep the skip for 7 days, if it is required for any longer it may be subject to an additional charge.
Q: What happens to my waste after it has been collected?
A: The waste is taken to our waste transfer station where it is sorted and processed to maximize the percentage of material recycled and diverted from landfill.
